It’s rather simple.
This horse was at a roping show at the Kansas State Fairgrounds the other weekend.
As I walked around I entered into one of the large and very noisy buildings full of stalls. And as I turned a corner I saw her.
I was struck how this one kept to herself and did it quietly.
She didn’t turn toward me. She didn’t even acknowledge that I was standing to her side.
It seemed that she was shutting everything out as she geared up for her next competition.
And there was something about the white on white of the scene.
With that one hind hoof resting upright.
It was a though she was meditating.
And I bet she was.
I loved that.
And yes.
She won.
Look.
