a breath of fresh air.

It was a frustratingly slow photography week out in the country and I was feeling “on edge” so I decided to go for a walk to see if I could find something to shoot downtown.

Color me lucky when I found a place that is the equivalent to going back to the age of 10 without the pain.

It’s the Bluebird Bookstore at 2 South Main in Downtown Hutchinson, Kansas.

The bonus? Their side door.

I don’t know why I haven’t noticed it before. But guessing that it was never intended for use makes it all the more cool to just enjoy.

Go inside and pay a visit. Endless choices of Books, an eclectic mix of Art, the occasional Musician all complimented by helpful staff.

You’ll feel much better when you do.

So. I bring you the visual equivalent to a nice…. deep…. breath.

Looky.
